What is Asclera?

Asclera is an FDA-approved treatment used in a non-surgical procedure called sclerotherapy. It’s administered by a trained healthcare provider in-office to treat two different types of veins; uncomplicated spider veins, and uncomplicated small reticular veins.

Asclera has been a non-surgical FDA-approved treatment option for spider veins since 2010.

What is the Asclera treatment like?

Your provider at Precision Med Spa will inject Asclera into the vein. Then, over a period of weeks, the treated veins will collapse and become less visible. Over time, your body will naturally reabsorb the treated vein.

Treatment with Asclera usually only takes 15-45 minutes, depending on the complexity of the veins.

The most common side effect following Asclera injection is temporary bruising at the injection site.
