B12
Many people suffer from B12 vitamin deficiency, especially with the growing popularity of veganism, vegetarianism, and other specialty diets and lifestyles. Others who may be more susceptible to vitamin B12 deficiency are patients diagnosed with Crohn’s disease or celiac disease, and those who have undergone intestinal procedures such as weight loss surgery.
While many who are deficient opt for oral, over-the-counter supplements, we recommend approaching the deficiency head-on with B12 injections. Hydrafacial

We are proud to inform you that our practice here at Precision Med Spa offers a treatment that might be right for you: the HydraFacial.
What is a HydraFacial?
A HydraFacial is a medical grade form of hydradermabrasion that works to resurface the skin by providing cleansing, exfoliation, and hydration in a single treatment process. It is a non-invasive and non-surgical procedure that can be customized to treat other skin conditions with no discomfort or downtime.
It is a three-step process: cleanse, hydrate, and protect.
- The first step cleanses your face with the use of gentle exfoliation and resurfacing chemicals to improve skin texture and tone.
- The second step is extraction. The loosened dirt, debris, and other impurities deep within the pores are removed with painless suction. This portion also includes intense moisturizers that nourish and quench your skin from any moisture loss that took place during exfoliation.
- The third step is to fuse and protect your skin. Specialized serums saturate the skin’s surface to maximize your glow. Other serums can be infused during this step and can be entirely customizable to your skin’s needs and goals.
Chemical Peels
A chemical peel is a technique used to improve and smooth the texture of your skin. The peel gently removes the outermost layer of the skin, leaving you with completely fresh, untouched skin. Results include even-toned, smooth, tightened, and refreshed skin.
Chemical peels can be used to treat acne scars, uneven pigmentation, rough skin, wrinkles, fine lines, and sun spots/damage.
How does it work?
Chemical peels are a safe and effective treatment to remove the outermost layers of skin in order to expose new, untouched skin. Your dermatologist will create a chemical mixture specifically tailored to your face and skin type to ensure the best results.
While patients can return to normal activities immediately after treatment, the skin is sensitive and should be makeup free and protected from the sun for at least 2-4 days. Most patients begin to experience peeling after 48 hours, which resolves itself in 2-5 days.
Botox
Precision Med Spa is proud to offer Botox! Natural aging or stress causes frown lines, crow’s feet, and any other unwanted wrinkles surrounding your face and neck. Repeated facial muscle contractions naturally cause skin to furrow and fold. With Botox injections, we are able to freeze the targeted facial muscles allowing for a temporary smooth, wrinkle free and younger look.
What is Botox?
Botox injections is a quick 10-minute treatment, and you’ll notice a difference in just a few days. Your Botox injections will last you somewhere around 3-6 months, depending on how well your body reacts to the injection. Please note that Botox injections is not a permanent treatment; after about 3-6 months, your facial lines will gradually reappear and additional injections will be needed.

Xeomin
Xeomin™ is an FDA-approved, highly-purified neurotoxin prescription injection that is primarily used to treat moderate to severe frown lines. An alternative to Botox and Dysport, Xeomin™ is injected into your face muscles to soften frown lines and improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between your eyebrows, also known as glabellar lines.
How long Xeomin™ last?
The cosmetic effects of Xeomin™ last for a short period of time and block the release of the chemicals that cause your muscles to contract, which over time, result in frown lines. Xeomin™ lasts anywhere from three to four months and can take anywhere from 24 hours to ten days to take effect. The lifespan and effectiveness of Xeomin™ primarily depends on your physiological makeup, which is why we recommend consulting your doctor at Precision Med Spa before beginning treatment. Common side effects of Xeomin™ include headaches, blurred vision, and injection site pain.
Dermal Fillers
What Can Fillers Do?
Dermal fillers can be used for a wide range of cosmetic procedures in the face and hands to improve your overall look. As we age, we begin losing collagen and elasticity, which ultimately leads to fine lines, wrinkles, and thinning of the face. While many already know fillers are used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, they are also useful for creating contours on the face such as fuller, higher cheeks; defined, structured chins; and smooth, chiseled noses.
- Plumping lips
- Enhancing or filling in shadowed areas of the face such as the cheeks and temples
- Improving overall symmetry and definition of facial features
- Diminishing or removing under-eye shadows or wrinkles caused by the lower eyelid
- Filling in recessed scars
- Softening static lines around the mouth and nose due to loss of collagen and elasticity
These fillers are designed to treat certain kinds of aging or other cosmetic issues. Depending on which one is used, they can last anywhere from 12 to 24 months. On average, treatment takes approximately 45-60 minutes.
How Long Do Fillers Last?
How long a filler lasts depends on which filler is used. Some fillers, such as last for approximately 12 months before a touch up is needed. Others typically lasts about 15 months, and or up to two years.
Are Fillers Reversible?
Yes, most dermal fillers can be reversed. Those made of hyaluronic acid (HA) can be dissolved with an injection of Hylenex®. For those who are unhappy with the volume or look of their new fillers, Hylenex® is a simple way to remedy this. Please let your doctor know if you have any allergies or are taking any medications, as Hylenex® is contraindicated in some instances due to medication interactions.

Microneedling
Microneedling is one of the most effective ways to rejuvenate your skin and improve its appearance. Spending too many hours in the sun, working in high-stress environments, or even accidents that leave scars can change the appearance of the skin.
For some patients, acne in childhood can lead to scars or uneven skin textures that are hard to cover up. As a nonsurgical alternative to injectables and other treatments, microneedling is the optimal choice for a variety of skin and cosmetic issues.
Is microneedling for me?
During your first visit we will determine if microneedling is the right treatment for you by reviewing your medical history and setting goals for the appearance you want to achieve by receiving treatment. This first visit serves as a time for you to get a better understanding of how microneedling works, and to ask us any questions you may have. Once we create an individualized treatment plan that is specific to your physiological makeup and needs, we will begin treatment.
How does microneedling work?
Microneedling involves the use of devices with very thin, short needles that are slowly rolled over the skin by a medical professional. As the needles pass over the skin, they gently poke through the surface, creating micro-tears that are invisible to the eye but help promote the natural regeneration process. Microneedling has a short recovery time, minimal discomfort, and life-changing results which have made it one of the most popular skin treatments available.
What happens after?
Because microneedling is a nonsurgical and minimally invasive procedure, you will be able to return to your everyday routine right away. Your skin may be a bit more sensitive to light and appear pink in color right after your treatment. If you do have some sensitivity, it is important to remember that your skin is in the process of healing itself even if you can’t see it. Limiting exposure to direct sunlight and harsh chemicals such as some makeup and foundations will help the healing process go smoothly. Activating the healing process through microneedling encourages your body to drastically increase its collagen and elastin production. The new collagen and elastin that your body produces will be responsible for smoothing out discolored areas, balancing your skin tone, filling in scar indentations, and rejuvenating the surface of your skin.
PRP/PRF
Precision Med Spa is proud to offer platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy to our patients. PRP has continued to grow as a reliable way to effectively treat soft tissue and joint injuries. People experience these kinds of injuries for many reasons – sometimes they are due to intense sports or can be a result of aging or developing arthritis. In any of these cases, PRP can help heal the affected tissues more quickly. Additionally, PRP has aesthetic applications such as improving overall skin and hair health.
Our blood predominantly consists of plasma, which carries red and white blood cells and platelets. PRP is created by drawing some of the patient’s own blood and then using a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets within a sample of the plasma. This concentrated sample of platelets is then combined with the original blood sample. We can then inject this platelet-rich blood into the injured area. While results may not occur immediately, studies have shown that overall healing time is dramatically reduced, and inflammation is tempered.
